I am Annamarie Gebar, and the owner of Plaid Travel. I am passionate about travel and have been ever since I experienced wanderlust at a young age of 18 years old, and then fell in love with experiencing the world and other cultures and their backdrops. I have flown over a million miles for business in my career to over 11 countries and to 43 of the 50 United States. I lived in the UK for work, and it is my favorite country on earth because I experienced it in an immersive way. This made me realize immersive and experiential travel is very special and offers something that traditional "big city" tours do not provide. I love teaching people about the world and all it has to offer, particularly to first time visitors of a country or city. So I started Plaid Travel in 2019 and here I am, ready to help you experience the world.
